The Promiseland Children’s Ministry is preparing for its Annual Harvest Party. The theme will be “Let’s Get Back To Eden”. All children, ages 0-5th grade are invited to come out and enjoy the fun, food, pony rides and more. The ministry will be accepting candy donations at the Member & Guest Services Office through October 25th. The event is scheduled for October 30th at 6:30 pm. Anyone interested in serving at this one day event, should contact Min. Brenda Troy at 614-930-2200 ext. 143.

Is your home nearing foreclosure and you can’t seem to qualify for financial assistance? If so, New Salem and The Community of Caring Development Corporation may be able to help with a no interest loan up to $2,500 through the Foreclosure Prevention Program initiated by member, Attorney Eleanor Haynes. To qualify, you must be: a New Salem Member, 1-3 months past due, an annual household income range of $50,000 - $90.000 and able to repay loan in 24-48 months. The Life Development Department will serve dinner to college students on 2nd Sundays in the Minnie B. Cleveland Fellowship Hall. The College Ministry is looking forward to hosting upcoming events such as OSU Football viewings, Holiday Socials, prayer, leadership forums, community service, and much more during the Fall Semester. New Salem will process all checks via ACH processing. When a check is provided for contribution or payment, this authorizes New Salem to use the check information for an electronic fund transfer. Funds may be withdrawn from bank account the same day the check is submitted. Account holders will not receive processed checks from their financial institutions.
