Will electronic giving disregard my offering as an act of worship?
Absolutely not. As you plan and prioritize your giving, you will lead the way for others to grow and mature in their spiritual stewardship. Once you have signed up for electronic giving we will mail you a giving card that you can put in the offering plate. Others will be able to see that you've participated in our electronic giving program. This will eliminate watching the collection basket go by and feeling uncomfortable when knowing that you've already given electronically. |

Does accepting credit card contributions support the dangerous practice of credit card overspending?
Our online giving program permits online transactions via debit cards and credit cards and makes no distinction between the two. Although we do acknowledge that many families face seemingly insurmountable consumer debt as a result of credit card overspending, NSMBC does not support God's people going into debt,. We do not encourage the irresponsible use of credit cards, but offer the opportunity as a convenience for those who manage their finances in a proper manner. Please be prayerful when considering your resources before making any credit card purchases or donations of any kind. |

|
While NSMBC can provide numerous financial tools to accommodate the busy lives and to encourage the consistent giving of its member, none of these services will replace the need to call people to be Christian stewards. We are called to recognize that God is the owner of all that we possess. Our response to god through Jesus Christ, regardless of our method of giving, should be the same -a spiritual discipline of joyful, generous giving. |
