Mission Statement:
The purpose of the College Ministry is to provide an opportunity for students to develop a relationship with Christ, through fellowship, teaching and ministry. It is our mission to provide college students a home away from home and connect them to other growing believers.

Purpose: The purpose of the Holy Nation College ministry is to provide Christian fellowship for college students, and to seasonally provide care packages, scholarships and care.

The Life Development Department focuses on serving the Holy Nation based on I Peter 2:9

"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light;"

Core Objectives:
Draw Them In
We must create an excitement about what God is doing in the church and through the college ministry. We use this excitement to attract more students to Him.

Be A Friend
We must create an inviting and friendly environment. Also, provide fellowship opportunities with college students that God has brought to the church and the college ministry.

Show Them Him
Through our college ministry, we must create an environment for college students to be able to experience a life-changing worship encounter with Christ.

Help Them Mend
Forming Christ-centered “small groups” with college students in which true discipleship and mentorship can be achieved.

Build and Send
We must teach college students how to maintain a mature relationship with Christ, as well as how to serve and evangelize their surrounding campus communities.

Draw Them In
Bus Transportation:
We are providing transportation from the Ohio State University campus. Pick up times are as follows:
• Frank Hale Cultural Center 8:30am
• Drake Union 8:45am
• North Campus (corner of College/Woodruff Ave) 9:00am

COLLEGE STUDENTS— KEEP US UPDATED
The New Salem College Ministries is updating our database. We have many exciting programs planned for college students both home and away. We need updated student information to help connect you with the college ministry.

If you are a college student or a parent of a college student, please complete the college student registration form. You can register on line.

On Third Sundays, immediately following the 10:45 a.m. worship service, a warm meal is provided to college students in the fellowship hall. No cost to participants.
