The definition of “sound teaching” is impacted by current research on how people learn and apply their learning.
There exists specific and proven techniques, approaches, and methods of instruction that increase the effectiveness of instruction.

Is there a variety of modes of instruction?Are instruction, curriculum content, and course/program structure based in scripture, informed by best practice, and consistent with the mission of NSMBC and the Maturity Department?Is there evidence of creativity, risk-taking, and growth by teachers and learners?
