Sanctify them in the truth; Thy word is truth. John 17:17
Purpose: The mission of the ministry is to teach God's Word and encourage a growing and loving relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
Description: Held on Sunday mornings at 9:30 - 10:30 A.M., these classes use age-appropriate systematic Bible study materials. Classes are offered for infant to adulthood. Specialty classes are offered to meet more specific needs.
Our children & youth divisions, now grade divided instead of age divided, covers the pre-school class (ages 3 & 4) through 12th Grade Class. They are using the Faith Weaver Curriculum published by Group Publishing. It is a family-friendly program designed so that everyone examines the same Bible story in meaningful, memorable ways. Faith Weaver encourages Christian growth in the entire family, the entire church, and provides home-centered activities to continue that growth at home. An added feature is that Faith Weaver provides learners of all ages with an overview of the Bible. Summer and Fall quarters walk through the Old Testament every three years. Winter and Spring quarters follow the church year and provide an overview of the New Testament every year, with a focus on a different synoptic Gospel each year.
The newest adult classes are Through the Bible in One Year, that will be taught by Marie Waugh and Disciple's Prayer Life that will be taught by Bro. Norvelle Sharp.
People interested in enrolling can stop by the Sunday School Office, register in the foyer on Sunday, get an enrollment card from the teacher, or attend the class of your choice.
