Purpose: To communicate with members in sick and shut-in, hospitalization and bereavement situations, as well as births and adoptions.
Description: Distribute information to leadership regarding the hospitalization and bereavement of members and their immediate families. To facilitate the ordering of congratulatory, get well and sympathy flowers for members and their immediate family, according to church policy.
Commitment: Completion of 101, 201, 301, 401 Discovery Classes, consistent attendance at meetings, SALT, scheduling and commitment to serve as needed. Tenure should extend only as long as the spirit leads. Ministry meetings are called as necessary.
SHAPE: Hospitality, Service, Administration, and Encouragement. Each participant should have a strong desire to serve and the ability and willingness to communicate effectively.
Expertise and Experience Needed: Ministry Participants will be trained.
