SALEM ADVANCE LEADERSHIP TRAINING is the centerpiece of our lay ministry
training program. It is a two hour training rally held on the first Tuesday
evening of each month for the core of our church. The agenda for SALT
includes recognition of ministries, testimonies from the field, commission
of new lay ministers, "insider" church news, ministry training, and
visioning on our values, our vision, and the character qualities and skills
needed for ministry. Our hope is that every member who has completed our
301 classes will dedicate two hours of training a month for ministry.
