M. Cecilia says God's call for her is to "live out Acts 1:8", and when it is time, leave her Jerusalem and Judea and go to Samaria and other parts of the world. M. Cecilia's other part of the world at this time is South Africa, where she teaches at the Baptist Convention College.
The Pierres work on the Atlantic coast of Nicaragua to strengthen local churches and encourage existing churches to plant new ones. One way they do this is by leading and coordinating seminars and workshops. They also work with people in local churches to educate against drug abuse and drug trafficking.
In partnership with the Baptist Convention of South Africa, the Wests work toward the goals of renewal and reconciliation by training and equipping people for leadership roles. Even though the government structure has changed from apartheid to a multiracial democracy, much work remains to rebuild a nation that has been segregated for such a long period of time.
Mabudiga and Kihomi Nzunga serve as a vital link between International Ministries and the Haitian Baptist Convention. Mabudiga teaches theology at the Christian University of Northern Haiti, trains assistant professors in teaching and writing books, administers a scholarship program, and visits and preaches in churches. He also administers the “Kids for Kids” goat projects, and provides needed school and personal supplies for children and university students.
